Divya serves as in-house counsel at Merlin Solutions, where she provides strategic legal guidance to support the company’s operations and growth. She advises on compliance matters and drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts with employees, vendors, consultants, and clients, ensuring that the organization’s interests are well protected.

Before joining Merlin Solutions, Divya practiced as a transactional attorney in Houston with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and Acquisition Finance. She advised on asset and stock purchase agreements, ancillary deal documents, and credit agreements, representing lenders to ensure strong collateral structures and enforceable liens

Divya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management (Pre-Law concentration) with a minor in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law. During law school, she held leadership positions in several organizations, including Titans of Investing, the Business Law Guild, and the Texas Business Law Society.

She is an active member of the Texas Bar Association and NOWGen, the young professionals’ group of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston. Outside of work, Divya enjoys Pilates, Houston’s brunch scene, and spending time with her two cats.
