Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate enterprise vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys) to scan, detect, and assess vulnerabilities.
• Analyze scan results and collaborate with IT teams to prioritize and remediate findings based on risk and business impact.
• Apply security patches to Windows and Linux operating systems in a staged and controlled manner.
• Maintain patch management schedules and ensure systems remain up to date in accordance with internal policies and industry best practices.
• Track and report vulnerability and patching metrics, KPIs, and compliance status to leadership and auditors.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles focused on vulnerability management and patching.
• Hands-on experience with Tenable, Qualys, or similar enterprise-grade vulnerability management platforms.
• Proven experience applying patches to Windows desktops and servers, as well as Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Strong understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, and threat prioritization.
• Familiarity with patching tools such as WSUS, SCCM, Windows Update for Business, or Linux patching via yum/apt.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with cross-functional teams and writing reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or CISSP.
